    +1 (also known as Plus One) is a 2013 American thriller film directed by Dennis Iliadis. It premiered on March 10, 2013 at the SXSW and stars Ashley Hinshaw, Rhys Wakefield, and Natalie Hall. +1 was released in theaters, iTunes and VOD on September 20, 2013. For the VOD release Iliadis worked on fine-tuning elements of the film, as he felt that the SXSW release was too "rushed".

It premiered at the 2014 SXSW film festival and was released theatrically in the United States on April 18, 2014.

    22 Female Kottayam, also known as 22FK, is a 2012 Malayalam–language Indian thriller drama film directed by Aashiq Abu and starring Rima Kallingal and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The film concerns the travails of a 22 year old nurse Tessa (Rima Kallingal) from Kottayam who was raped and takes revenge on her tormentors. Set and filmed in Bangalore, the film released on April 13, 2012, and received strongly positive reviews from critics. It was also well received at the box-office. Rima Kallingal won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performances in 22 Female Kottayam and Nidra.

Murugadoss, featuring Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles and Johnny Tri Nguyen as the main antagonist. The film, produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin began production in May 2010 and was released on 25 October 2011 in Chennai and a day later, on Diwali, worldwide. The visual effects for the film were done by US based Legacy effects, making this their second Indian film after Enthiran. 7aum Arivu received mixed critical response upon release, but opened strongly at the box office. It was also dubbed into Telugu as 7th Sense which released simultaneously along with the Tamil original. The film was also dubbed in Hindi as Chennai vs China as well as in Malayalam with the original title. The film was also one out of several films selected by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce as the Indian submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

    7 Khoon Maaf, pronounced Saat Khoon Maaf, released internationally as Seven Sins Forgiven, is a 2011 Indian black comedy film directed, co-written and co-produced by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is based on the short story "Susanna's Seven Husbands" by Ruskin Bond. After Bhardwaj saw the possibility of a script in the short story, he requested Bond to develop the story for a film adaptation. Bond expanded his four-page short story into an 80-page novella, and later co-wrote the script with Bhardwaj. The film tells the story of a femme fatale, Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, an Anglo-Indian woman who murders her seven husbands in an unending quest for love. The film stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead role, with Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Aleksandr Dyachenko, Vivaan Shah and Usha Uthup in supporting roles.

Filming began in April 2012, primarily in Budapest, Hungary.
