    Arya 2 (2009)


    Arya 2Teluguఆర్య-2, Ārya-2) is a 2009 Telugu romance film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles while Navdeep and Shraddha Das play supporting roles Sukumar, who directed the original, directed this film as well. The film's music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad produced the film under the Aditya Arts banner. The film was dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil and Oriya with the same title and became a blockbuster in Kerala. Some scenes were recreated with Malayali-based scenes for this. Allu Arjun gained huge fan base in Kerala through this film. This is the sequel to the 2004 Telugu film Arya. The film was dubbed in Hindi as Arya: Ek Deewana and it fully used the shot-ready scenes from the Telugu movie. Arya 2 collected a Share of 30 crore (US$4.7 million) in 100 Days.Its Pre-release revenue's fetched an additional 7 crore (US$1.1 million). The film was remade in Bengali as Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay.

The film stars Allu Arjun, Ileana D'Cruz and Rajendra Prasad in lead roles. The film was produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner and was presented by D.V.V. Danayya. The soundtrack was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was released worldwide on over 1600 screens on 9 August 2012. The film was dubbed in Malayalam as Gajapokkiri and was released on 17 August 2012. It was also dubbed in Hindi as Dangerous Khiladi. The film is being remade in Tamil titled as Saahasam.

    Magadheera (English: Great Warrior) is a 2009 Indian Telugu historical fiction film, written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Based on the theme of reincarnation, the film was produced by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. The film stars Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal, while Dev Gill and Srihari appear in prominent roles. The plot revolves around four people: a valiant warrior in charge of the princess' safety; the princess who loves him; her cousin who lusts after her; and an emperor who wants to conquer their kingdom. They all die before their wishes are fulfilled and are reborn after 400 years, at which point the warrior kills the scheming cousin with the support of the emperor and wins over the princess.

It won two Filmfare South awards for Best Male Playback Singer and Best Lyricist.

Athidi collected a Share of 28 crore (US$4.4 million) in its lifetime. Athidi finished 35 Days in 400 Centres successfully.It collected 35 crore (US$5.5 million) gross in 4 weeks. It is being remade in Bengali as Gangster with Hiran Chatterjee and Rukmini Mitra.

    Billa (Telugu: బిల్లా) is a 2009 Telugu gangster-thriller film film directed by Meher Ramesh, a remake of the 2007 Tamil Film of the same name. But some scenes were changed to suit the Telugu audience. It also drew inspirations from the NTR-starring Telugu film, Yugandhar (1979) which drew inspirations from another Hindi film titled Don and one of Rajinikanth's 1980 Tamil film with the same title. Prabhas Raju Uppalapati plays the lead role, where he plays dual roles of the characters Billa and Swami Ranga, with Anushka Shetty and Namitha playing the heroines. The film, which began in October 2008, released in April 2009. Actress Jayasudha, who had earlier starred in Yugandhar (1979) as Jaya, the first Telugu remake of Don, has a guest role as Janaki in this film.

Raghavendra Rao at a budget of INR 270 million, it stars Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, in her Telugu debut, and Harshita as protagonists with Lakshmi Manchu making her debut in a negative role. The film features musical score by Salim-Sulaiman, an ensemble soundtrack by Salim-Sulaiman, M. M. Keeravani, Koti and Mickey J Meyer, while cinematography and editing are handled by Soundar Rajan and Sravan Katikaneni, respectively. Prasad Devineni of Arka Media Works is the Line producer of the movie.
