Alanson Harris (April 1, 1816-October 3, 1894) was a sawmill operator and later owner of a farm implement manufacturer in Brantford, Ontario that merged with Hart Massey's Massey Manufacturing to form Massey Harris, which later became the farm machinery giant Massey Ferguson.

Robert Alan "Bob" McCown (born May 21, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio) is a Canadian sports talk show personality and the host of a late afternoon/early evening radio talk show called Prime Time Sports. The program is broadcast from the Toronto-based studio of the Fan 590 (the flagship radio station of the Fan Radio Network) and is syndicated nationally in Canada. Since 2004, this radio talk show has also been simulcast on television on Rogers Sportsnet. Since 2009, the show's live stream has been available online in Canada on the FAN590 website.
Bud Osborn (4 August 1947 – 6 May 2014) was a poet, community organizer, and activist in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Following his prolonged struggle with heroin addiction and alcohol dependency, Osborn became a founding member of the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users and advocated for the creation of a legal supervised injection site. His poetry commented on poverty and homelessness in Vancouver.
