Due to heavy requests, Z100 finally started rotating the track in late September 2007. It also became Cole's first number 1 hit on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It was nominated in the 'Best Rap/Sung Collaboration' category at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards to be held February 2008. This song was number 59 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. "Let It Go" has sold over one million copies in the U.S. and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
