Captain Drew (first name and dates unknown) was an English amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket in 1795 for Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), of which he was a member, and Sir Horatio Mann's XI, the latter an indication of his connection with Kent cricket. He held the rank of captain in the British armed forces.

His scientifically accurate and aesthetically rich visualizations are elucidating cellular and molecular processes for a wide range of audiences. His animations have been shown in exhibitions, multimedia programs and television shows, and have received international recognition including an Emmy (2005) and a BAFTA Award (2004).
